If you are interested in stories with happy endings, you would be better off listening to some other band. This band's story has no happy ending, no happy middle, and certainly no happy beginning. Orphaned in the fall of 2007, Violet, Klaus and Sunny started their new life with only a faint hope for the future. Each of them had unusual talents and found ways to amuse themselves. Violet, who was known for her inventions, fashioned a guitar out of metal scraps, a broom and some string she had found in the garage. Klaus, who spent the majority of his time reading books, taught himself to play the bass guitar that someone had left behind. Sunny, who was known for his biting skills, carved a pair of drum sticks out of some tree branches in the backyard. When they realized that they had no one left to look out for them except themselves in this world, they put their talents together determined to save themselves from their despair.
